I will be going to Disney Nov 1st - Nov 6th. During that time, AK will not have any table service restaurants. Can I use a TS credit at Flame Tree?

TS can't be substituted for a CS meal. Usually AK is not open very late, maybe use CS for lunch then head to AKL for dinner or maybe DTD for dinner?

During free dining they had a substitution program for TS credit used for CS, but that is not the norm.

Sorry

Donald's breakfast is open until the 5th. Can you do a breakfast ressie?

We're doing MNSSHP that night so we won't be able to go to DTD that night. We will be doing TS at MK but I will have extra TS credits that I want to use.

Which restaurants at DTD are TS?

Don't be disheartened ask when you get there at the concierge desk, we were able to move and make new booking when we were there earlier this month.

Update: I called this morning and got ressies for Donald's Breakfastasaurus!!! :woohoo:  Thank you TMB1203!!!

I had asked two CMs during two different calls if there were any TS options at AK during our stay and they both said "no". That's why it pays to ask questions on the DIS!

Thanks again!

Glad to help! Enjoy! :goodvibes

and they said you most certinally could use TS at a counter service place, I asked becouse WE will have kids left over and I wanted to know if they could order two meals at a rest. to try something different or two orders of kids burgers at planet hollywood. I was told yes.

In September we used a TS as CS at Flame Tree. We asked at Guest Services first (we wanted to check for an opening at Boma first) and the CM told us that was perfectly fine.

BTW, Boma was my absolute favorite dining experience of the week. It even topped California Grill (not in ambience, but more than made up for it in taste). The balance of exotic and familiar dishes was great, and their dessert buffet absolutely cannot be beat! It's a little out of the way from Animal Kingdom, but completely worth it!

Jenny

My understanding is that you can only convert from TS to CS during free dining. Beware anything you are told from the cms manning the phones for WDW!:lmao:

I'm pretty sure you can always trade TS for CS. I can't imagine why they would care. More money for them.

They let us use a TS as a CS at Captn Jacks in May...I just asked if it were possible at the cashier and it was not problem...you only get the items that you are entitled to on the CS program (instead of the TS options...no appie that is), but it IS possible if the CM wants to be nice and friendly.

We were able to use TS for CS during our September trip and had our choice of two perks... either extra snack credits or a blue lanyard with two pins. We did so and ended up with 4 lanyards/8pins, which were great for trading. We did it at the CS at SSR (AP). It is at least worth asking if this is an option! Good luck!
