No Trip

this weekend my dad got something wrong with his leg. Well anyways he will be out of work for a week or so. That means we probably will not be able to go on our Disneyland trip this summer. I am so sad and have been crying all weekend. Well this trip was supposed to be a senior trip before my senior year. I am sad.

I hope your dad recovers quickly, and that you can reschedule for this year.
We always had an "unofficial" Senior Skip Day at my high school. I say find out when you won't have any major tests, etc, and have a Senior Skip Week at Disneyland! Tell your parents, how can they possibly be corrupting you at the Happiest Place on Earth?

well Thanks! And I could not have a senior skip day to Disneyland. I live in Portland! lol but I just found out today that our band is going down next year and we might not have to cancel our next trip in August!! So hopefully it will work!

Boy, I know how you feel. My DH and I had always planned to take our (then theoretical) child to Disneyland when s/he was 5 years old. I had never been to DL, and at the time we were trying to start a family. We were lucky enough to finally have a child in 2000, so our trip was set for 2005. Well, much to our surprise, DS got a little brother in 2004! So rather than take an infant to DL, we pushed our trip off a year. Last January I booked a trip for April. This was me:

Well, two days before we were to go, DH wound up in the hospital. Very scary business; he's fine now, but we had to cancel our trip. We are still trying to get the paperwork in order for the trip insurance (else will lose a healthy chunk of change!) and we are now re-booked for late September.

I'm glad you will still be able to take your trip after all! It will be that much sweeter after your dad's health scare and waiting a bit longer. I hope you and your family enjoy it to the fullest!

Thanks everyone! My dad is felling better now. His foot is healing and it is not at a level 8-10 pain level anymore it is like at a 1 or so so hopefully he can go back to work monday!!!
