No Target ad in Sunday newspaper

Nope, I live in San Diego and TARGET's ad was in my Sunday paper. Allot of good deals. I went today.

We also had Wal-Mart ad as well and we usually don't always get that one. But Target we get every single week.

I sincerely doubt anyone at Wal-Mart would take out the Target ads from the newspapers they sell, since it's easy enough to see the Target ads on-line anyway.

We got newspapers at the restaurant where I used to work, and quite often ads were missing from this one or that one. Not all of them, but maybe the Target, or Penneys, or whatever. It happens.

Much more likely that someone took the ad out of the paper so they could check and see if target had something for cheaper. I know the walmart in our area will price match any other store's deals but you have to show them the actual advertisment to get it.

50/50 shot that Walmart took them out vs someone in the store/paper not having it to begin with. Walmart uses some of the Sunday papers to pull ads to keep at each register for price match purposes, that was a part of the agreement when I approached Walmart to sell papers inside as a newspaper district manager.

Ours has not been in our paper for months. In fact there was a little blurb on the front page a few months ago that there was some issue between the paper and Target and if there were any questions we could address them with Target Managers. Since then we have gotten the ad the Thursday BEFORE with our food store ads.

We either get 6 copies of the same ad, or none. Papers don't do the best job of inserting them. If it continues to be a problem, then I'd call the newspaper & inquire as to why no more Target ads.

We also did not get a Target ad last weekend, and this is with home delivery. Plus our ads are in a sealed plastic bag. Don't think Wal-Mart had anything to do with it.
