Six of us are heading to WDW the first week of January, so today was our 180 day out mark.....While making ADR's for Le Cellier, the CM told us there were no tables for 6 and that she would split us up 4 and 2 and have tables near each other. I just don't like that idea :sad1: Can anyone else tell of their experiences in this matter? Thanks!

call back- we had a party of 6 last Dec. and were seated together.

We went last August with a party of 5, 3 of us on one side of the table and 2 across. I am pretty sure if there were 6 of us we would have fit at the same table.

1) When the tables are gone, the tables are gone.
2) The earlier you make the ressie, the better chance of tables for six.
3) Sometimes at the podium they can help due to others who are late.
4) But if they tell you split tables, don't be disappointed if it happens.

We were a party of 6 last year.

I don't think it'll be a huge issue. They will try and put you close together and let me tell you, you will be CLOSE to anyone seating nearby. I could have eaten off the table next to me without stretching.

At check in, just tell them you're traveling together and would like to be seated together.

arrive a little earlier for your adr and they will probably seat you all together.

The tables are so close to each other anyway. You are listening to your neighbor's conversation whether you want to or not. I would take it. Keep calling back and see about getting a larger table. Did you check all the days that you are going to be there?

I went last January to Le Cellier with a party of 6 and they told me the same thing when I made the reservation. They seated us all together no problem at all. :thumbsup2

I agree. Don't sweat it and make your ADR anyway. Another thing ... if you are not within your 180 days (if you're booking under your 180 + 10) all of the tables may not have been released yet.

Thanks all....I feel a little better now. Today is 180 days out for our entire stay, so maybe more tables will be released. I'll call again in a couple of days.:goodvibes

I wouldn't worry about it. I make reservations for my family for up to ten at a time. When I get to the six mark they almost always tell me the same thing (we'll have to split you into two tables near each other). We always tell the person at the podium and we have always been seated together at one table. (much to the disappointment of my kids who would like a table without mom and dad):)

Just let them know you need a table for six when you check in.

I called at our 180+10 day mark and got a table for 7, but at a time that was later than I wanted. I was told that there are only 2 tables that fit that number. Don't know if that's 100%, but it is what the CM told me when I asked her if she thought something earlier might open up.

There are several restaurants that don't take ADRs for large tables or only take them on a limited basis. However, we have always been seated together with parties as large as 8 when we arrived and have never had to even ask.

On our latest trip, we were told we might be split at Raglan Road, Brown Derby, Coral Reef, Shula's and Jiko, but all seated us together without us asking. The same has happened at Le Cellier in the past.

Same thing happened to us last year. I was very disappointed when making ADRs to learn that we would need to eat at separate tables at 2 restaurants
(Le Cellier and Ohana). We did arrive a few minutes early and were seated TOGETHER at both restaurants with absolutely no problem. I think you will be fine.

We went as a party of 6 last fall and were told we'd need to split 4/2 but when we arrived for the ADR we asked if it was at all possible to sit together. They said no problem if we could wait 10-15 mins, which we did gladly to all be at a table together. Maybe that will happen for you too. :)
