No Studios left for me

I was able to reserve a studio at SSR for NOV 9, last week and today I wanted to add NOV 10 but there is no availability anywhere.
--yes, I know its Veterans Day but I am bummed!

Put Nov. 10 on cash at SSR with DVC discount and waitlist for it on your points. You may get it!

Yeah I was bummed to find out it is going to be busy at that time. I thought it would be a slower time of year. We have our ressies but looking for a studio also and waitlisted at OKW.

Yes, and you're not imagining things, lots of us head to WDW that week. Election Day is the 4th and Veteran's Day is the 11th. Both are school holidays in many districts. Add in the teacher's conference on the 6th & 7th (all NJ public schools are closed), and you get a week's vacation while your children only miss 2 days of school.

Some schools have even adapted their calendars, and will close Wednesday the 5th and Monday the 10th since they know many students will be absent.

I thought Jersey Week was the week before and "they" would be gone by Monday night.
I am waitlisted at SSR but a great idea to book DVC cash night just in case-thanks-I'll try it

Technically JW is the week before, but because of Veteran's Day, many will still be around until Tuesday or even Wednesday.

Thanks everyone....I just checked the website and I got my room. That was fast. I appreciate all the input. Now I can do Food and Wine and MVMCP back to back.
