Yes.. it is possible. We did not take a stroller for our 3 1/2 year old DS. We only did 2 days in the parks, and figured we would rent if needed. We did one whole day at MK and one day split between AK and MGM. He never even asked for a stroller. It is great to travel light!

That's great but I love my stroller my dd7 will be using it in 5 days....the storage can't be beat...and then she can keep up the older kids without whinning....I'm going to hate it when she decides not to use the stroller...

I cannot even imagine the day that we won't need a stroller anymore. But I suppose it will be here eventually.

Congrats to you!

After over six trips to Disney with the kids, last month was the first time we didn't bring a stroller. It was WONDERFUL! Our youngest is 4 and he did so good without it. That did surprise me. My husband was the one who pushed for no stroller and he's a lucky man it went so well. :teeth:

Funny this should be brought up!! I just brought up at dinner tonight that there will be NO STOLLERS rented on our upcoming May trip. Our youngest DDs will be 8 and just turning 10. If they can't handle the walking, I will get them a babysitter for the room!! (Although I might break down in EPCOT!) Don't tell them!

:cool1: I have 4 kids and for many years we used one or two strollers every trip. When youngest was 6 we did our first non-stroller trip. I am sorry we did not try it sooner...it was WONDERFUL! It is so much easier to snake through the crowds holding hands and not have to worry about running over people! It is also great not to have to park, unload, look for, and re-load the thing for every attraction! As far as the stuff, we have always travelled light. One backpack for money, camera, rain gear (if necessary) and that is about it for us. Larger purchases are sent to the room. We don't carry water, just get it when we need it. We take turns carrying the backpack, my oldest 2 DDs don't mind carrying it some for me. As for the walking, I feel it is not as bad as most people say, and we are not in super good shape. Basically you walk to an attraction, sit, walk to the next thing, sit, ect.... I think anyone who is worried but tries it will be pleasantly surprised. My youngest is a whiney baby, but she LOVES WDW so much she doesn't complain so much there.Lacee
