No standard rooms left at CSR for dates in January?

I just called and applied the AP rate to our upcoming trip; unfortunately, we only had CBR already booked and hadn't booked CSR as of yet. We already had $663.00 down on our reservation and after transferring the credit we had on CBR to another ressie, we only owe $217.00 for 10 nights at Disney!!!!

BAD NEWS - According to the CM I spoke to, there were no more standard rooms at CSR - only suites which were more than $300 a night so we booked at POFQ (never tries this resort. I did all my research on CSR and now I have to start fresh with PO - we love the tropical feel and also were interested in CSR's southwestern theme but will we like the theme at PO - what are your opinions? And am I correct that there is a boat that takes guests to DTD or does it go to any other parks and how long is the ride? I think that's it for my questions - any help is much appreciated.

No std view room either for Feb 12-19. I had a reservation at POFQ, then I just switched to CSR vaterview, this is all they have left. I may just keep calling back to see if std view room opens up. I just hate to pay more for a waterview and I don't even look outside our window. I am just wondering if there will be a convention going on there around those times.

I couldn't get ANYTHING at CSR in January on a discount, not even waterview. I was offered the suite as well as PO or CBR. I didn't ask if CSR rack rates ($144 standard) were available as I decided to book a WL woodsview for $129.

DH would rather pay $129 for a deluxe than $89 for PO or CBR. I WOULD have paid more for CSR, but not more than a deluxe.

I would like to try the other mods sometime, but DH is scared to. He loves WL and CSR.

Pig Pen - I have been checking online at disneyworld.com and they do have king bed & waterviews room for $111.50 (including tax) during my time frame. We would take that but now we think we may enjoy POR - you may want to check it out.
