No snow for Christmas, but we do for Easter.

How ironic is that?

Anyone else? The kicker is we had 80 degree weather 2 weeks ago. It will be over a week until it gets to 50 or higher again too. This seems too cruel. Oh well at least in May we are going on a Disney Cruise!

Upstate New York here - and there's a fresh, slight dusting of snow outside.. Talked to my DD (who is up to a friend's place near my place at the lake) and she pretty much told me I can forget about moving back up there for at least several weeks - lots of "old" snow, along with some fresh snow.. Checked the long-term weather forecast and she's right.. Winter has no intentions of leaving that area for awhile..

We had all these flowers like daffodils that are frozen solid and won't bounce back now. Very sad. Normally they get a coating of light snow on them and it warms up and the bounce bad. Not this time.

We had a 'dusting' here yesterday morning but thankfully it disappeared before too long. I'd heard rumors of snow but was hoping the forecasters would once again be wrong. Not! Today the sun is shining but it's freezing (by my standards). I'm hoping the warm weather is around the corner to stay.

We had sleet last night...which is really saying something for Central TX!!!

We got several inches of snow Thursday and it hasn't all melted yet, so it's a white Easter in NH too. We had a green, well, really a brown Christmas. I say it's punishment for all the people that were celebrating the December days that were in the 60's and 70's

We have snow for Easter too. We had lake effect all day yesterday. At Christmas the golf courses were open. My iris's were up quite a ways I hope they survive.

We had snow flurries yesterday and today is freezing for Easter Sunday! We usually take a walk on the Boardwalk here in New Jersey but not this year. I just checked the weather here, its 38 degrees, feels like 28!

I went out on the deck yesterday and measured 15 inches. And it came down yesterday...and it is still coming down.

We had one day on which we set a (record-breaking) 80 degrees last week or the week before. I even had a wasp in the house.

Now we're buried again. As dear old mom always says, "Oh, piss."

But Spring - real, honest to goodness Spring - will be here SOON!!!

central NYer here too...same thing - colder and more snow than at Christmas

woke up to 3 inches of new snow...while I am preparing Easter dinner the weather station on the coffee maker is blinking, sure enough there is a lake effect warning...DD went out and did sidewalk chalk anyway!!!!
