I went to Universal today. Got there when they opened. Went to the Mummy. Only a few people in line ahead of me so I only waited a few minutes to get on and got back on again since there was still hardly anyone in line.
Before I got on the first time I asked if the single riders line was open, figuring there was a longer line inside. The attendant said no we're not running single rider lines. Ok. Later I went over to IOA. The wait for the Hulk was 70 min. and it was probably about 10 AM. I asked about the single riders line and was told that it takes just a long in the regular line and that they were not running a single riders line. Ok. I didn't feel like waiting at that time so I went to Dueling Dragons. Took about 20 min. to get on Fire. I saw empty seats that could have been used by single riders like myself but they just let them go empty and didn't even ask if there were any single riders. Ice was a longer wait since there was some kind of malfunction but I waited anyway. Once again, empty seats. I don't think there is a single riders line though but it seems that things may move along a little faster if they filled all the seats. That's just one more person not waiting in line. I went back to the Hulk around noon and the wait was now 90 min. and still no single rider line.
I decided to skip it and get lunch. It was really packed today and I figured it probably would be but I was off work today and just decided to go have a little fun but the lines were really bad and there was a lot of rude kids trying to push and shove thru the lines, but it still beat going to work!
