No Seats at Epcot Shows?

During our last visit, we missed so much at Epcot due to the Food and Wine Festival, so we are hoping to catch a lot more for our next trip. While reading my Birnbaums, I notice that there are no seats in the theaters for O Canada and Reflections of China. Do you just stand there or sit on the floor? We usually do shows in the afternoon as the kids are fading, but if you cannot sit down that might not be such a good idea. Any help is appreciated!

Nope, there are no seats in the attractions you mentioned above. There are rails to lean against. I think the main reason for no seating is that the movies are 360 degrees around you. It would be hard to turn around and see the movie behind you if you were seated.

My kids sat on the floor once and were told to stand up. Other times, they were not told to stand. I have never seen adults sitting on the floor in these attractions.

I am fairly certain that you aren't allowed to sit on the floor for safety issues (someone decides they want to leave and trips over you in the dark). Some of the theaters (the one in China for sure) have lean rails that make standing not so bad. If you haven't seen these shows I would highly recommend them! Standing isn't that bad and the shows aren't unbearably long.
