The had a gas leak at a construction site near my school so we were all evacuated. And in chemistry I thought I was the only one who smelled gas! I was sitting in the back about to faint when other people said they smelled it too. It's too bad I didn't have any tests today.

So, do you get chemistry credit for smelling the gas.....and complaining about it!? If not...you should!! Insist upon it!!!

It's funny that I was in Chemistry when it happened because we all thought that one of the burners were on.

You should write up a paper as to what the appropriate actions are when you smell gas, the safety reasons as to why gas has an odor, and anything else you can find out about gas and ask if you can get extra credit for it!
