No Rooms at GF?

Just found out that my MIL and FIL would like to join us for our 11/1-11/6 trip. We're staying at the GF and thought it would be simple to add a room. I am told there are NO rooms. I am really surprised. There are rooms at WL and other resorts. Does anyone know if there is something going on at the GF during our stay?

they are re-doing rooms in the buildings so that is probably why

Isn't the golf classic that weekend? Many of the golfers stay at the GF?
