So sorry to hear that!
There isn't anything in SSR or OKW either? What are you looking for?
Maybe you can rent from someone that has an existing ressie or look on tug. I am quite sure you can find someone there that may have an existing ressie or something close to Disney.
I'm going the last week of August. Did you try that time or is that a time you cannot go?

If all members are using their points the DVC resorts would be at 100% occupancy pretty much year-round. Don't mean to sound unsympathetic but seeing zero availability only a month out doesn't surprise me one bit.

Star Wars Celebration is occurring at the Orlando Convention Center August 23-26. I don't know if those dates are within the period of time you are looking at but it's possible people are planning to visit WDW in conjunction with attending the Star Wars Celebration. Also as already mentioned it is the last couple of weeks of summer vacation before many schools start again.

You are inside 60 days so any open rooms could have been sent to CRO and booked for free dining or discounts. SSR & OKW are 30% off August 15-Sept 29.

Looks like timing is everything. I just booked 1 BR at VWL yesterday for a 3 night stay beginning 08/21.

We did feel lucky, but, there were also rooms available at SSR and OKW.

Actually August is a slower time for DVC at WDW. I'm surprised nothing is available. My question would be what are they looking for. As wdrl posted, there is availability. I just checked the weeks of Aug 12 & 19, studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms, grand villas are available at SSR. Treehouses are not except for Aug 24 & 25.

What I really want is a two bedroom at OKW on cash for my aunt. I have a studio at OKW on points and wanted to get the family together.I guees DVC is doing a good job because even though there is some availablity for OKW stays on points (8/16-8/23) there is no cash at DVC or central.

Well, that may be the problem!! Cash reservations come out of different inventory and even though it may be a slow time for DVC, it is probably not for cash reservations. Is there anything available for points? Maybe you can rent points from someone and book on points.
