No room at the Inn?

I'd made a short stay reservation for 12/31 through 1/3 at VWL. I wasn't sure that I could use it but so far it looks like my little trip is on. Given that I could still go I thought maybe I'd use my other timeshare to extend the trip since I don't want to fork over 43 points just to stay Saturday night.

Nothing...absolutely nothing comes up on the Interval World site for Orlando. Not even a Getaway week. Guess Disney'll be bustin' at the seams.

What I may do is look for something an hour or so away so I can check out Sunday morning and head for the World. In fact I may look for something on I-4 to the east...that way I can check out Universal that day.

If you're trying to stay over the first weekend in Jan, I see tons on II that will cover that time. I also see a fair number that will cover the weekend before including 3 BR units. Sometimes the II site is quirky and shows no availability when there really is. Other possibilities would be trade power (doubtful for Orlando in general) or a regional block (trying to trade another Orlando resort).

Editted to Add: I do see tons of stuff for the following weekend but that isn't what I'm angling for. Looks like I'll be looking for Dec 30th well offsite & maybe the 29th as well. This will be the first time I get to see Universal in Christmas dress.

When I looked above there were several decent options for all of those dates though the 29 was the least. A Thursday start date for Horizon's might be a good choice for you.

I'm limited to offerings from Central Florida Investments (Westgate). They have a number of resorts in the area but none showing availability for me.
