No pen or paper in Villa any more?

My family missed these amenities! Anyone else? Was it a mistake? However, I stayed in BWV and Kidani in October and neither had any pad to write on. I carry a pen, but had to use receipts! Usually I decline paper receipts !

Is it just for DVC rooms? We stayed at POP a couple weeks ago and asked housekeeping and they were happy to give us a few.

They take away the pens but when I want to order only two extra MB (split stay), I have to order 8 ,one for each person on reservation.
