No passages for FoP????

My 60 day window opened up this morning. I had AK as my 4th day in my plan. At 7am exactly I jumped to day 4 and was able to book FOP in early evening (5:30pm) for all 3 in my party. On day 4 the earliest opening was after 4pm. Didn't look at other days for availability.

Just wanted to pop back in and give another update... after lunch we went into the shop and I waited maybe 10 minutes to purchase a banshee toy. I didn't even look at the rest of the merch it was so crowded! The river was still showing 110+ minute wait so we left the park. I watched for the rest of the evening thinking I could go back and get in line later but stayed at over an hour wait for the rest of the night also. I never saw even a single FP show up in the app despite checking frequently. In the end I didn't return to wander at night which I had planned on since the park closed at 9pm - that would have only given 45 min or so of darkness to wander in... we went back to F&W instead and then popped over to the MK since it was open until 11. I feel like the parks were WAY too crowded Sunday to have every single one aside from MK close at 9pm...!

You hit on the main reason why for the most part, I'm passing on FOP and we MAY BE doing DAK one day with ROL, and that is mainly because of the crowds. We have DAK planned for a Saturday , initially because that was the night that we could get ROL, and of course now ROL is scheduled for every night. Thanks Disney! Also, the park closes at 8P. At this point, I have no intention of changing all my plans again, which would include FP so DAK may be a casualty on our October trip or I may just play that day by ear and see what happens.. Besides, I really would like to focus on HEA and F&W this coming trip. Maybe by next December, it may die down a bit. Since I'm a DVC member, I go every year so it's no big deal for us.

Gads, I may be wrong, but it seems like it's loosening up a bit. When I booked at my 60 day mark (right at 7am EST) I had FULL availability all days, all times for FOP.
I ended up with 3 different FP for 3 different days. We wanted a day and a night experience. First week of November, perhaps a slow week?
