Not sure if this is the right forum but we are planning a trip at end of July and will have about a day and a half of no park days. We were planning to lounge by the pool and head to Disney Springs for a day but in the current environment, does anyone have any other ideas? All suggestions are more than wel

Miniature Golf is fun and reasonably priced.

Tour as many resorts that you can and sample all the different transportation systems.

Unless you choose a water park, it’s so very hot, spending the day in the pool might be the most comfortable option!

I second mini golf, but we also really enjoyed footgolf :flower1: No masks needed for that!
In July, I would suggest going more towards the evening, though, with the heat. We went in October.
Gondola crawl.

What is the age demographic of your group? Easier to make appropriate recommendations with that info:)

There is a bunch of stuff to do at Fort Wilderness. If you are staying at a resort that has biking, rent one of those 4 person surrey bikes ( which are fun for the kids ).

Where is foot golf?

Kind of vague. Where are you staying and do you have a car? We go to SeaWorld on one of our off days, then generally relax/Disney springs/pool.

On property...
disney springs
mini golf
boardwalk
monorail hop to resorts

off property
other theme parks
go to disney outlet store (character warehouse)
crayola experience

Do you know if they are holding the movies with the fire pit to make s’mores or is that on pause?

If you have access to the Skyline and Skyliner resorts, its' fun to ride that and explore the Boardwalk area. It's an easy walk from there to the mini-golf, plus shops and snacks. You can also explore Riviera and the theming at Art and Pop if you like Disney stuff. We did a three day no-park escape this winter, and it was easy to explore!

Yes to the movies, not sure about the s’mores. Movie wasn’t every night when we went in October, just select nights. That may be different now. Check out the camping board for Fort info.

Like playing golf, but with a soccer ball. There’s separate holes to kick the soccer balls in, but it is located on the regular golf course. I am not an athletic person by any stretch and it was super fun, my boys loved it. And my husband was happy being on the golf course even if he wasn’t playing golf lol

On my last trip, I had dinner at Sanaa and visited the animals at both resorts. You could also have a meal at a resort and walk the running path.

I dont know if you have a car or not....
We love fun spot America... it was 50 all you can ride... we went in the morning ( Orlando) and there was no lines we went back at night to Kissimmee there was 15 min lines. It was so much fun the orlando location has 4 different cart tracks.

Sleep in, lazy late breakfast somewhere fun, pool time, then monorail crawl for apps, drinks, dinner and dessert. 😃
