No on-site availability from 12/6-12/8?

I know I’m late to the game booking a last minute trip, but I’m shocked that there is NO availability for any on site hotel rooms for 12/6 - 12/8. I called the reservation line because I need 2 rooms and I was hoping there may be a military discount, Not only is there no discount available, but I was told NO rooms at all. Other than MVMCP on 12/7, is there something else going on?

I wound up booking rooms at the JW Marriott at Bonnet Creek.

I just searched 12/6-8 and found tons of availability... everything from Pop to GF, CBR, Beach Club... plenty.
