No more VMK for me....

I work for a website, so most of my day is spent on the net. Which means I play VMK at work, alot. MOST of my day at work, a good 5 hours or so is spent playing VMK. Well thanks the the ever updating Shockwave Player, I can no longer play. I guess in order to play VMK you need to update Shockwave, and we cant install or download programs on our computers here at work, which means no more VMK for me here anymore I rarely have time to play it when I am at home, plus here at work the lag on pirates isnt as bad as it is when I am at home, this really bites.

Perhaps you can get one of your office admins to update your Shockwave for you. I mean there are plenty of legit reasons why you would need that on your system.

Ok here you go... You say you work on webpages and have Intarwebs access for that. Cool. You just have to find a legit reason - For example, I use my access to research programming syntax for various projects that the bean counters won't buy books for (besides Googling is easier than page turning so I don't mind). If you have similar knowledge-quests all you have to do is find a source of info online that uses the latest Shockwave in their tutorials and poof you've got you rationale.

The site I work for is similar, called backpage.com and sometimes people post scam ads or spam, my job is to just look around in the cities on our site and delete all the scam spam thats on the site. Thats about it, so in between waiting for people to join my pirates game, or loading screens, i delete some ads.

Well, for some reason I can get on VMK using Fire Fox.... last time I used VMK on Fire Fox though it always froze up? No idea why it works on firefox but not IE anymore. Ah well.
