Disney got rid of the park hoppers? You can't buy a regular park hopper anymore?

ummm, nope, thats why they have been talking about the magic your way tickets for a while now.

If you still want a hopper, google Hotwire savings club. Sign up for a free 30 day membership and buy your hoppers today. They may not be there tomorrow. be sure to cancel your trial before it ends or you'll get charged their monthly fee.

You can't by the old tickets after yesterday. They probably wouldn't beable to sell them to you anyways.

no, you can't get them anymore and i'm not happy. I don't want to pay extra for the no expiration part.

Uh, we made reservations for PH passes back in Oct. for our upcoming trip next month. Will we still get them?

We bought our Hoppers on Dec. 23 because we knew they wouldn't be available after 1/1/05. We just went to the mall and the Disney Store display of park passes is completely empty.

i think this is unfair to DVC members, DVC members save up points to go, I think that DVC members should get a special pakage too or something

I think you can still buy them at Discount Orlando Vacations. They are still listing them on their web site and when we purchased ours, they said we could still buy them after Jan 1.

Has anyone used the old Park Hoppers today or had any problems using them?? Do they have to be exchanged at Guest Relations for the new admission ones?? Will they still work in the FP machines and all..thanks!!!

The new ones work perfectly for us, though I understand the frustration many are having. We only go once a year and the expiration thing is no big deal to us. Because of the new tickets we will be able to park hop for 7 days for about the same price as the regular (no plus passes) 5 day hoppers we were going to get . We never use the pluses this time of year and so we never get the hoppers that include them. We are pretty happy about this since we will be there 8 days and now we can go to the parks on one of our travel days AND on the day we planned on taking off. This leads to much less stress (jackskellingtonsgirl-you know what I'm talking about!:rolleyes1) and worries about how to fill the day up on the days off and how to spend the travel day after we check out of our hotel until the time we leave for the airport.

Your old tickets will work fine. As always disney honors all past tickets.
Hotwire still has the old hoppers for sale on their site. I don't know if you can actually buy them but they are there like always. Can't hurt to try if you are interested.

I guess I'm happy about the change since our ticket option is cheaper than it was the old way. We're getting a 6 or 7 day pass w/ Hopping, no plusses, and w/ no expire and saving money. We go off season and don't go to water parks.

What the heck does "DVC members save up points to go" have to with anything. Everyone saves up dollars to go. I'm a DVC member and I have no clue what that comment is suppose to mean. We deserve a packege??

I never save up points to go as a dvc member.

But some people save their points for the 2/3 bedrooms. Take lots of family, myself just us :D

I don't know about the saving up points thing, but DVC members pay a pretty penny for their points (worth every darn penny!) and I do think though that they should let DVC members add the dining package to their tickets if they so choose.

DVC members will now get $100 off the cost of an annual pass for the members of their immediate family. Seems pretty fair to me.

AH..was the "we deserve a package" comment regarding wanting the dining options? I just had no idea what the point of that post was??

I know DVC'ers save points (I did for this trip) again I just did not understand what the point was in reference to the new park tickets.

Isn't there some new discount for DVC and annual passes? Is that the attempt to give a deal?

Am I missing something? Or am I getting jipped and don't know it?? :D
