No more Major Domo's at CRT...Booooo!

What!!?? That was a favorit of ours as well! Man, now I am not sure if I want to go again.

I remember having that my first trip, it was so good, and the only thing that was really a standout food-wise there.

It is still showing up on the lunch menu on WDW's website. I was trying to decide between lunch & dinner for our next vacation - the dinner time frame worked best, but I really liked the Major Domo - which was only showing on the lunch menu.

Those that have gone & are saying it is no longer offered - has it been dropped for lunch, but Disney has not updated their on line menu?

Disney doesn't update their online menus as often as they should. The menu is wrong, and that dish is gone for now.

Wow, you really couldn't find something else on the menu you wanted to eat? I know if paying cash you pay no matter what. Didn't you just lose 2 credits? Seems kind of wasteful to me, might as well have just gotten something if you were going to kiss those credits good bye.

It was still there in May so it hasn't been gone for that long... oh I hate to think that it's gone!

Since they removed the yummy prime rib from the castle menu, I won't be going back

No...we did not lose the credits nor were we charged...I made sure of that before we left. They were very nice about it...as were we.

Wow, that is a shame. That was the only thing appetizing to me that was served at our CRT lunch. I know the Minor Domo is still listed on Allears.net's menu page and it isn't offered any longer either. My oldest daughter was disappointed in that.

My ADR window opens up in just a few days, so I was very glad to read this as we are planning on making a CRT lunch ressie.

So, now that I know the Domo is off the menu, can anyone who has been there recently say what is on the menu? I feel like I can't trust the WDW menu that's online. I want to be sure we book a meal where there is at least one entree we are interested in. I'd be interested in knowing what is on the menu for all three meals, if anyone knows.

Major Domo's Favorite Pie - Shredded Beef simmered in rich Cabernet Sauce served with Mashed Potatoes and Sauteed Vegetables, crowning a Light Pastry

Gee, with the prime rib gone and now Major Domo's gone (the only entrees we liked), what's left on the menu as entrees?

Disney's approach to restaurant dining is sure disappointing these days. We used to love having lunch at CRT. We would not go near the place, now.

That's a shame - and another thing I never got to try. Glad they didn't charge you - that was the first thing I thought of when reading your post since they have the cancellation penalty.
