No more iHome Clocks

I thought i was the only one who couldnt figure out the clock

I do not like those iHomes and am glad they will be gone.

You cannot even reset the time on the model in the BCV. The time was off and it drove us crazy. It's a nice option to have when they work properly.

Nor does Disney sell cords for computers. Last trip we were off on a Radio Shack detour between MK & AK to pick one up. Someone (DH) took it out of his travel bag.

I swear that at one Disney World (might of been MK mainstreet) store I saw a bin of iPhone to USB cables. They do sell a number of cases.

they are no longer in SSR. at least not in room 8410. there was a clock with a 3.5mm audio jack.

I was at AKL and BC 3 weeks ago and both rooms still had the ihome clocks.

Some rooms still have them, but they are phasing them out.
They found one for me to use at OKW but not at Kidani.
They are replacing them with Timex Alarm Clocks.

Some of the stores and Gift Shops at the Parks had a USB Apple charger with Mickey Ears on it.
But not the part that plugs in to the wall and no standard phone chargers.
Every time we go I say I should find a way to put one of those rapid phone
charging stations in all the Parks like they have at the airport.
I bet I could make a fortune.

I absolutely hated those things. I'd love to know who decided that this was a good use of our maintenance fees. They certainly never asked me. I prefer not to subsidize those who expect their new techno gizmos to be supported by my maintenance fees but want me to pay for an extra towel in my studio that doesn't have a washer & dryer.

I had an awful time trying to set the time in January when we were there, and finally gave up.

My DD and I just left SSR on Monday and our room had an Ihome that luckily was set to the right time, and I was able to use it as an alarm clock, but it was really large and took a lot of space on the night stand.
