I heard a rumor that the resorts (specifically the ASMo) will not accept deliveries for guests anymore. Is this true? I wanted to buy water Pop Tarts etc... for our March trip thro netgrocer but know Im afraid it will be refused at the front desk. Anyone know for sure?

The way I understand it is that they will not hold packages for guests that haven't arrived yet. So if you plan your order to arrive the day after you check-in, you'll be OK. If it arrives before you check-in, they'll refuse it. I believe this is a safety measure.

Is this a new thing? I only ask because we have always sent package to arrive a day before we do, and have never had a problem.

This could be a security issue. How do they know that the guest will even show up and what does the package actually contain. Kind of like sending baggage without flying yourself.

We used www.WeGoShop.com on our last trip and were very happy. He was punctual and the cost was reasonable.

Hope this helps.

Were you staying on property? Is there an additional fee for delivery to a WDW resort hotel? When selecting your "delivery area," did you chose Lake Buena Vista or something else?

Thanks!

Most hotels will accept a package for someone who has a reservation. Our company sends packages to our Managers who travel all over the country and those packages arrive 1-3 days before the individual does and there has never been a problem with it.

We were planning on using Netgrocer, but called ahead to the resort (ASMu) to check on the policy. They said that they will accept a package for you if you're there, but they will refuse a delivery if you haven't checked-in yet.
