Since we can download the cruise documents from the website, does that mean the docs we receive in the mail are redundant? Does that mean the excitement over getting our docs will be gone? What else is in the doc package?

It says you will still receive the documents in the mail. You can fill these ones out if you want though....

Ok so I'll do my dance when I download my docs. :dancer: Hey, that's catchy!

:moped:
We booked through Dreams and were able to download doc's but they
were very blurry even on my "best" print mode.
I am waiting for my offical DCL one's now.
I have 23 days, so hopefully they get here soon!

Try downloading the docs individually instead of in a group. The first group set I printed was blurry; the docs I downloaded and printed individual were crystal clear.

fairytalelover, not much other than the terms & conditions contract (the part that gets me is we can't hold them responsible if the ship sinks  ) and the various forms you need to fill out.

Other cruise lines are moving to e-docs, where you or your TA download your docs from the cruise lines website. Eventually mailed docs will mean an additional charge by the cruise line (yeah, yeah I know, not fair to folks without Internet access that book directly with a cruise line and not through a TA).

I won't be surprised if DCL goes this route (it'll be cheaper for them).

Each person gets a set of docs. Inside toward the middle are 2 yellow and white (or they were yellow and white last year) plastic luggage tags. Only 2 per person because that's the limit on checked bags. Immigration forms and an informational booklet complete the contents of the package.

They are thick and about the size of the old paper airplane tickets.

We are sailing with RCCL on the 22nd and that is how I received my docs. Just be glad that DCL is still sending out the luggage tags. We got nothing in the mail and have to pick up our luggage tags at the dock, in the electronic docs there is an example of how to fill the tags out this should be fun.

Markey,

If you TA has the luggage tag stock, they should be able to print out the luggage tags for you.
