NO More Disney Magazine?

Is it true that the issue of Disney magazine currently on news stands, which celebrates Dsineylands 5oth, is the last issue???

Just for the record, I hope it's not. I look forward to that magazine. I like to catch up on what's new around the worlds of Disney, and i like to have something to look forward to.

Maybe it seems a little sily, but I'm a newlywed and I know children are somewhere in my future. I want my children to have what I had as a kid. I know it may be blatant advertising, but I liked the magazine, I like the classic Disney movies or Disney channel, and I absolutely LOVED the Disney travel shows they used to out o TV. What happened to all thing Classic Disney? As a child I looked forwad to our Disney trips b/c of all these things. But, I feel like if the Disney Co. keeps taking these little things away, my kids and other kids aren't going to look forward to trips to Disney b/c they won't have anything that gets them excited about it.
Anyway, I hope it's not true about the Mag.

Tis true - I had just renewed for a year and the next issue (Disneyland 50th)had a "wrap-around" on it explaining this was the last issue and I should select either Family Magazine or Disney Adventures Magazine as a replacement. It didn't say why Disney Magazine was being discontinued. Even the magazine itself gave no clue that it was being discontinued. I can't believe there aren't enough interested readers to keep it going.

It's a shame that it isn't being published anymore. It was a well written and interesting magazine that everyone could enjoy.

It was the best magazine! It stinks they discontinued it. I'm glad I saved my old issues...I guess I'll have to keep looking at those.
