I know large or wheeled coolers have never been allowed, but soft sided coolers have been allowed. The Disney website still says they are allowed, but I know their website isn't always kept up to date. I think it was disney dining (on FB) that said coolers are no longer allowed. I'm hoping they made a mistake in saying this. We like to put a small, soft cooler under our stroller to save money on drinks.

Thanks!

Sounds like a nightmare to enforce. Too many parents of small kids and diabetics would be affected. I'm betting it's a mistake.

Can you link in the site where you saw that? Disney ss one of the few theme parks that allow coolers brought in. If that had been announced, it would have brought outrage on this board. Heck, you cannot take in anything at an Atlanta Braves game - not even a bottle of water on a 90+ degree day.

I'm thinking that this is much ado about an error.

We took a small soft cooler with bottled Cokes in to the Braves game at Turner Field about a week ago. Bottles had to be unopened.

woo! I love the Braves! They allow soft sided and whatever unopened non alcoholic and snacks that you want! *chop*chop*chop*

i take small soft sided cooler each time we go,I need to keep my insulin cool. Plus water to keep properly hydrated. Disney has never stopped me from entering any park.If this rumor it's a bad one and I think it is no way Disney would even consider it.

This is where I read it. It's under #1. http://www.****************/top-10-budget-dining-tips-for-walt-disney-world/

Even though hard side and rolling coolers are supposedly not allowed, I see them every time I go to the parks. Same with rolling backpacks.

Yeah - I sure wish they'd enforce the rule for these since I tripped over someones rolling backpack in March when they cut in front of me.

I've seen a lot of bad and mistaken information on ****************. I don't think they are very good at checking their facts.

Disney Dining is not an official site and that entire paragraph doesn't really make sense. I think they are calling insulated bags soft sided coolers. But anyway aren't insulated bags small coolers and soft sided coolers large insulated bags?

Off topic here, but this is false. We've brought cokes, water, and even food into a Braves game. You are not allowed to bring in alcohol, but that's about it.

"Food, drinks (non-glass, non-aluminum, non-alcoholic) and soft-sided coolers (with the plastic liner removed) ARE permitted. Beverage containers may also be subject to inspection."

I agree with you.
