No more care packages to soldiers?

Hooray!!!! I was getting concerned that the care packages I sent off would not make it to it's destination..

I will prepare some more for my adopted soldier Bobby & I will include Triscuits this time!!!

I'm sorry if I upset anyone with this post, but I really did see the ticker tape that advised not to send anymore care packages unless it was family or friend on CNN this morning.

I've got my box all taped up and ready to go!! Does anyone know how long it will take to get over there? Has anyone heard back from their soldiers?

Mishetta - I saw the same thing on CNN and was concerned as well. But, I've been following Patty's posts very closely and knew if she said it still was OK to send them, then I was going to continue to send Care Packages. It so nice to see so many Disers taking part in this!!! This place is truly magical!!!

I read on one of the military care package sites that in the bottom left hand corner of the package to write "If the person to whom this box is addressed has been redeployed, please keep and share it with your unit". I just don't want it to be returned to me.
