No more Blockbuster, where to get cheap DVDs

Every year we shop Blockbuster's used bin for good films and pay about $8 or less each. Blockbuster is long gone so where do I get my vacation films? The boys always buy several for the ride and the grownups buy a couple for a rainy day at the beach. Oh, and my DS just said, "let's not give Walmart any of our money."

Why not rent from redbox? You can return to any other redbox anywhere.

We either rent digital copies from itunes or amazon when we do rent. Rarely buy dvds anymore

Do you have a Family Video? They are big here in the Great Lakes Area, they are always running movie sales with holidays. Even one for Memorial Day.

Do you have a Five Below near you? They always have a good selection and, of course, they are $5 or under.

If you order early enough, you can get used DVDs on Amazon.

No Redbox where we're going but we do have a Family Video and I'll look at Amazon. We don't leave for two weeks. Thanks everyone.
I've never seen a 5 Below but I'm not much of a shopper so I'll check for one.

Do/will you have a way to stream Netflix? We get a lot of movies and TV shows via Netflix. It is about $8 a month but they also offer a free 2 week trial.

we just get them at the library.. even if you have to pay some overdue fine it would be cheaper than $8. (We can keep them for 3 weeks.)

Not all Blockbusters are closed. There is one still open here.

We have several "used movie and game" stores in our area. A favorite is Just Press Play. I think it is a franchise. Perhaps you could "Google" used movies and your home town?

Movies Unlimited is having a Memorial Day sale.

For just straight up buying them, Amazon is pretty good if you have a "Prime" membership especially. You can find used ones that go for pretty cheap, and 2 day free shipping.

Without the "Prime", the great deals are harder to find, but still possible...just gotta pay for shipping, or buy like $25 worth.
