No more b'fast @hollywood N Vine?

I tried to make my ADRs for November and wanted to get the Play N Dine at Hollywood and Vine for the character breakfast and the CM told me that apparently they were no longer having breakfast there since he couldn't make the reservations. Has anyone else heard this?

I tried with a different CM and apparently starting the day we want to go and then past that they are not taking any bookings for the character breakfast. The very nice CM that I talked with said they might be refurbishing or moving the breakfast to another local, but she wasn't sure. AGH!!!!!

I was trying for Nov 16th, which apparently is the first day that they aren't having breakfast. I'm trying to decide now if we want to switch our days around and our other ADR's to see if we can get breakfast on the 15th.

Do you think this is temporary? I hope so. When we were there in Feb, my DS 4 loved this place for lunch! We are going back Summer of 2009 and it is one thing he keeps saying that he wants to do again.

Normally anything which closes for rehab is down beginning Sunday morning. This is done for Cast scheduling purposes.

The 16th is a Sunday, so maybe I need to do a little re-arranging....I did get reservations for lunch at 11 and the CM said that it was going to be a character lunch.

That's interesting. I wonder if the characters will be the same or if the theme of the meal will change.

It *could* be that maybe they are doing a Pixar meal, which would tie in with all of the new Pixar stuff at the park. That's just a guess, though.

I really hope they are still doing the character meals. We are going up the week after Thanksgiving and Jo-Jo's Circus is my DS's favorite show right now. He watches it every morning. They just moved it from 6:30 am to 6:00 am and we now have to record it so he can watch it.

I have an 8:05 ADR for Nov 23. When I first called the CM said there were no breakfasts available for Thanksgiving week and she didn't know why. Asked me to call back and I did a couple days later and then they were available. I hope you have gotten yours by now. If not, call right away.

We just spoke with a CM about the Hollywood and Vine Character Breakfast at Disney's Hollywood Studios and he said that the restaurant is open and they are taking reservations into December 2008.

For those of you who have had trouble or been told otherwise, you must have gotten an uninformed CM.
