It started from my original booking for a return flight of December 13 2004, which then changed by AC to December 12th at 5.45pm, then changed again to 7pm, then to 3:30, then to 1:25, then to 10:30, then back to January 13th at 1:25pm.

3 hours later, when I tried checking it online, it says "you do not have any bookings"

Then I called my travel agent... she can't find my file.

Neither can Air Canada.

Basically... I'm F&*%ed

Sorry to hear this, but doesn't your TA have a Booking #?

If you have a written confirmation from AC then they should honour it!

Good Luck!

wow, I've flown with them at least 10 times just this last year (several trips were work related) and never had a problem or a changed schedule. Mind you, I dont check the times out until a day or so before we are going but they have never contacted me with a change either.

You must have something in writing? Even a TA would give you a confirmation number at the least.

good luck

Wow! I've never had Air Canada change schedules like that on me. Hopefully you have some kind of confirmation with them? I know when I book through my Diner's Club credit card it prints out all the flight info (including confirmation #) to my credit card statement. Do you have anything like that?

I hope everything works out FatCow. Keep us posted.

They have finally found my reservation. Strangely enough, however, I still can't go to the AC site to check my reservation.

Still, with these stupidities, I'll never going to fly AC again (unless they got bought out by Singapore Airlines or Cathay Pacific, which within my 40+ flights with them, I've never had any problem whatsoever, not even a delay longer than 10 minutes)

That can happen when a 3rd party actually reserves the flight. I travel alot through work and the flights are booked through an agency and not directly through AC. I can never check my reservation on the AC site this way. When I book myself (for a personal trip), I can always check it.

Thanks for informing me. This is new to me because I've been dealing with AC through the same TA all the time and this is the only time I can't access it using my Aeroplan card (I could access it several days ago).

Oh well, if this is the rule rather than the exception, all is well then.

(except the fact that AC changed the departure time 9 times in total within the 6 months period).

I have had my schedule changed a couple of times and sometimes have not been informed until I check in at the airport which isn't terribly impressive

I just think overall they really don't make much effort to appear like they even care but I have a lot of Aeroplan miles (Not like I ever seem able to find Aeroplan seats) and I keep travelling with them and whining!I think I must like misery :rolleyes1 undefined

They (AC) constantly whining about losing market share, not making enough profit etc.

Don't they realize that they are the cause of most of their problems?

My family and relatives, for example, usually buys Business Class seats for their trip from Canada to HongKong (no, they don't live there, but most of our travels somehow involve a stop in HK) which means 8 return seats per year minimum. Plus at least another 2 return seats a year to Australia.

Last August, one of my relative took AC new direct-flight from HK to TO and the service, leg space, food, etc were atrocious compared to Cathay Pacific. AC ticket was more expensive too!

I know, 10 return seats per year is not a lot, albeit they are Business Class. However, how many other people got turned off by AC by the way they handle their customers?

So, how was your flight home FC? I tried to figure out which passenger you might be, but didn't have any luck.

I had thought of asking the woman to page you at the waiting area, but didn't think she'd go for it. Would you have responded if she'd said "Would Fat Cow please report to the podium."? :p ;)

The flight was fine. I was on AC907. I'm the Asian dude with the the ponytail with the blue backpack. I was sitting on row 28.

Both flight 906 and 907 surprised me, though. They didn't have any delay and arrived early. My very first trip with AC that they were on schedule.

I was in row 20A. :) Can't say that I spotted you, although I was looking!

I was travelling solo, jeans, black top, black sweater, and my black 'What Not to Wear' boots. ;). Black carry-on with a few lime green ribbons on the handle. Pretty much a nondescript woman of a 'certain age'. :smooth:

I've flown AC several times and never had a problem. The flight was on time, smooth and uneventful. For that, I'm VERY grateful!! :worship:

Kim :)

I was carrying lime-green Mickey Head on my blue backpack and belt-pack. Only met 2 DISer while I was there. One was MansionFan and the other was (IIRC) Pooh11Mom. Didn't notice anybody else with lime-green anything.

Regardless, my trip was disasterous.

Jetsgo is as bad if not worse. They changed our time of departure at least 5 times but what they also did and I NEVER NOTICED was change the DATE one of the times they were also changing the time. SHEER ACCIDENT or my angel was watching I noticed the change of date a few weeks later and was able to move up my other reservations by 1 day. I shudder every time I think of us all at the airport 1 day TOO LATE!

I don't remember whether I've mentioned this before, but my AC flight was moved from the 12th to the 13th without notification whatsoever. Good thing I still can get another night at AP rate.

Welcome back FatCow! I'm almost afraid to ask what happened...

I will compose a report soon, something that I will also forward to Disney's Guest Relations. It's horrible. I feel coming back to Toronto and back to work like a vacation for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you not book this trip thru a TA?

If you did I would be flaming them instead of AC.

That's why I book everything myself now. Too many you know what's for my liking when using TA's!

Sorry that your trip wasn't what you were expecting either.

Can't really be flaming them when they are not even being notified by AC (AC notified them for the other 9 changes, but not the 10th - the most critical - one.)
