Looks like WDW is moving back to the old 90 day window instead. This along with other dining changes coming soon...check the link below.

i'll be interested in seeing if this is in fact true.

i think it would be good and bad (at least for us). this would give us time to see park hours and EMH, but I'm a huge planner and like having things planned insanely far in advance

This is quite interesting. I wonder how well this will go over. I do find it slightly odd that there will be those three exceptions.

I actually like this idea! No more planning every step of the trip 6 months out. That was really hard to do especially since most of the time we decide to go if and when a special is released, which is never six months out. Thanks for the tip!

ARGH... (That is my pirate speak for "I am confused...)

I tried your link and get to the other page. When I try that link, I just get an "invalid link" error. Am I doing something wrong here? Today, it is very possible...

Ir's an invalid blog.

I haven't seen any confirmation from the moderators of this board at all.

The site is noted for rumors so right now, let's all just calm down until someone here can let us know what we can expect.

There is a reason I'm on this site and no where else for Disney information.

That would be perfectly fine by me since we don't plan our trips 6 months in advance. Being active duty military you never know what's going to happen. We can plan something but not actually book anything until about 3 months out.

That's the case for us right now with our trip in October. Just over 3 months out and booked today!

Would someone be willing to share what the article said for those of us that missed it?

It basically said they would be going back to the 90 days out ADR booking window. The exceptions would be Chef Mickey's, CRT, & V & A. There was no explanation for why those 3 weren't included in the rumored change.

Earlier today, Mark Goldhaber of Mouseplanet reported that WDW dining reservations would now be able to be made at the 90 day mark instead of the 180 day mark along with other changes coming to WDW dining. This posting has since been removed by the administrators of Mouseplanet. The Disney Report is currently trying to confirm this information....

I would love it to go back to 90 days. I often don't plan my trips out that far.

Hope to see it confirmed soon,
thanks for sharing

I definitely hope this rumor is true!! Getting the reservations back to 90 days is certainly a move in the right direction. Many people don't even know they're going six months out due to many reasons including Park hours, work schedules etc. Going back to the 90 days they used to be comes close to putting on an even playing field! :worship:

That would be great...cause I for one, think 180 is a tad ridiculous. I didnt know where I wanted to eat and I had JUSt booked my trip and already I had to make ressies!

Has anyone found any corroberation of the original report?

I was one of the very few who probably did get a chance on looking at it before it got took off. I think it would be a good idea to push it back to 90 days. Even though, trust me I will know where I want to eat six months out,:rotfl: that may not be the case for everyone.
