No minivan?

Just went in to do my weekly check to see if prices have come down any on my rental for November.

Currently I have a minivan at Dollar under the City Special from 11/21 - 11/29 - but now there is no minivan showing - does that mean that it is sold out?

What happens when I get there? I have 7 people so I need a minivan.

Even though you have a reservation, there's no guarantee a minivan will be available when you go to pick it up. <cue seinfeld references>

I'm guessing if there IS no minivan, they'll offer some kind of upgrade. That upgrade MAY be two vehicles.

We rented at MCO from Budget I think and had reserved minivan. When we arrived there was not one available. They directed us to Avis who honored our contract from Budget. So it all worked.

Does anyone know if I will have the current quoted price honored if I have to go to another rental car company or if I have to get 2 cars or some type of upgrade (suburban)?

For an upgrade to a larger vehicle you should not have to pay any additional. I can't see them giving you two cars for your one price. You will probably be offered a larger car. A Traverse would be my guess.

As for going to a different car company, probably not. The PP had a reservation with Budget and they sent him/her to Avis. Budget and Avis are sister companies.
