So what are some items you guys have on hand?

We will have a car but I'm sure I'll order from Vons...we'll be staying for a weeks time.

Also, we'll frequent Mimi's and Mcdonalds I'm sure but are they really crowded in the morning with everyone trying to get eat and get to the parks?

How are the fridges?

She's staying at HOJO. You should have a microwave. I think all the rooms have microwaves now...if not then switch to one that does. The fridges are small but worked fine for us in conjuction to our cooler. We also brought our small foreman hamburger grill and really enjoyed our gourmet burgers on the balcony. We brought a lot of stuff but we drove and could pack a lot. I had bagels and cream cheese for breakfast, yogurt a few times.

I hadn't heard that they ever put micros in the standard pavillion rooms. I believe only bldg. 1 and 2 rooms have them.

We just stayed in Building one highway side and there was no microwave nqq3
kinda stunk I brought easy mac lol

Where are you staying?

Sorry about that I thought I put hojo in there somewhere!

I thought I read somewhere there weren't any microwaves at hojoj's? We will be in either of the 4 buildings in the middle (2 story), I think it's either 3, 4, 5, 6!

Those are the pavillion buildings, and as far as I know - NO micros in those. If you upgrade to a Deluxe Q/Q in Bldg. 2, or a Premium in Bldg 1, you will have one.

We did all cold breakfasts when we were at DLR -- no microwave. Fruit, granola bars, Poptarts, cold cereal with milk, etc. Maybe do one nice hot brunch in the parks?

If a microwave is a priority, look into borrowing/bringing/buying a small one. They only cost about $30 at Target. Remember that if you have a coffeemaker you can also use that to heat water for oatmeal.

I was actually thinking about buying one, hadn't priced them ever but just might look into it. EasyMac is a huge staple for us!!

But then I think about just ordering from Mimi's?? I'll think about it!
Thanks for the info!

I know the room we stayed in last time (NQQ3) did not have a microwave, but the one we are booked in this time (NQQ2) does.

It really wasn't a big deal. We had a regular coffeemaker that time so I could heat water for oatmeal and I have no aversion to cold cereal so... lol

I wanted one this time because they have switched to Keurig's and I've not tried just heating water with ours yet so I don't know if that will work or not. Plus, I'm taking my heating pad just in case I have issues with my foot or knee and that needs to be heated in a microwave.

Well, I emailed my family and my aunt has a microwave. I'm seriously going to bring it. Along with a few power strips!!

I don't want to change rooms, I can't believe I'm going for a week and only spending 407.00 on a hotel room..that's AWESOME!

I'm also going to upgrade my GAD voucher for AP's and plan on staying again in Oct. and '11 Spring!

I'm so stoked!
