No Magic Band

The other issue I had is that Disney took several days to actually ship the order after they confirmed it. We booked our stay through Disney and ordered Magic Bands right away. Disney confirmed the order on 2/4, they shipped on 2/6 and arrived on 2/13. After the magic bands arrived we found a better deal for our trip on Hotwire so we booked that and canceled what we had booked through Disney. Even though we already had magic bands we decided to order another set anyhow. Disney confirmed that order on 2/20. I expected that I'd get a shipment confirmation on the 22nd or 23rd, but that didn't come so I called (as mentioned upthread). Shipment notification came through on the 25th. They were in my state on 2/27, but went to several other locations in my state over the next 4 days (it actually sat in one place for over half that time) and they arrived on my doorstep at 1:34 PM on my arrival day. If I had known it was going to sit there, I could've driven out and picked them up myself. So part of it is USPS and the other part is Disney. In the end it wasn't a big deal, but it was just annoying watching my package sit in a facility when it could've gotten to me in time to actually take my trip.

I actually would prefer if Disney would give you the option on the check out page to have them shipped to your resort.

If she was notified that they were shipped, then that means she ordered and paid for them. Disney resort guests can choose discounted MagicBands for their stay if they choose to.

Well, we checked in yesterday using our phone. Just walked to checkin and told them bands never arrived before our trip. Stuck in some other state. Cast member wanted to give us cards. I said we had already paid for bands. She still wanted to give us cards. I insisted we had paid for bands. She went in back and came back with a certificate for any two free magic bands from any store. Stay insistent.
