Hi everyone
I posted my question on Orlando Hotels forum but had no luck. Maybe here someone will have an answer for me. Here it is:

I love these posts and always wander how anyone can find my questions, but so far I was never dissapointed!
For Disney veterans my question may seem silly, but here it is:
My DH, three kids (15, 5, 3), and I are going to Orlando the last week of June. I booked LBS for a decent price of $69/night. It is a dwo-room suite which is the main reason I booked it. Also a full breakfast is included, and location seems good as well. The down side is a small pool with no kiddy area, but I heard that BVS residents may use a great pool at Royale Caribe next door.
I don't know how easy is to go back and forth, but our kids and I love swimming and it is pretty important to us to have access to a pool. In the meantime, I noticed a posting on Dream Vacation web site abut Grosvenor. For the same price, I can get ONE room with continental breakfast only, but a great pool with kids' area.
Are there any other pros and cons about both hotels that I am not aware of? There is not much info on these forums about Buena Vista Suites. Is it there something I don't know about that hotel? Or should I just relax and be happy with what I got? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.!!!

It sounds like you got a Great deal!!

There have been many many Complants about Grosvenor, too many for me to ever want to stay there!!

Perhaps you could go to http://www.floridaorlandotickets.net/discounted_tickets.html
And get a Water Mania Family Pass Admits up to 6 People and really have a fun swim day.

Or After 3:00pm Disney water Parks have discounted admission prices.

I have stayed at the Grosvenor before and I don't
think I would pay $69.00. You would probably be
put in a wing room and would be disappointed. It
was in much need of repair, like a run-down motel
chain. True enough, you can't beat the location,
but we won't stay there again. The suites you
have might be your best bet. Good luck!

We stayed at the Caribe Royal a few years back and the pool was awesome. They 2 hotels "kinda" share a parking lot from what I remember, so the walk would be minimal. From the things I've heard about Grosvenor, I think I would stick with the Buena Vista Suites. It was a very short drive, I'm thinking about 10 minutes. Good Luck.

I checked on staying at BVS awhile back and was told that they are a sister property to the Caribe. I was also told that they don't advertise the fact that you can use the pool at the Caribe (which is incredible - check out their website!), but that all you have to do is walk across the parking lot and use your room key to get into the pool area.

Have a great time!

We have stayed at BVS & would recommend it. The staff was awesome, the breakfast (can't beat it) was great, hotel was very clean but best of all................the rooms. There was plenty of space for my family of 2 adults & 3 kids ages 12, 7 & 5. My son loved the idea of having his "own room" (living room area). The pull out sofa bed was great for him & there is a refrigerator & 2 sinks. If you are not into the "Disney Feel" hotels, this one is great. There were some picutes of Mickey Mouse in our room, so it does have a little disney feel:)

So what you saying is that the key from LBV will work on Caribe poll gate? That's great! Thank you for the tip. The last two posting support my decision to stick with LBV. I cannot wait!!!

Thank you for your reply. I finally found someone that actually stayed at LBV! Can you help me with the following?
1. I was told that there is a small mart across the street with sandwiches and fruit. Did you buy anything from there?
2. What about a grocery store near by? Maybe Publix?
3. Is the location convenient enough to come for middle-of-day break? That Caribe pool sounds great!
4. Is there a loundromat in the hotel?
I understand if you don't remember and appreciate any info.
