We will be going to MK Monday, April 15. Hours are 8:00am-midnight. We know it’s going to be crazy busy that week. Today we hit our 30 day fast pass mark and had no luck getting 7DMT. We haven’t been to MK in 6 years so I’m a little unsure what our plan of attack should be. Looking for some advice. Here are the fast passes we did secure:
Space Mtn 11:15am-12:15pm
Splash Mtn 12:50pm-1:50pm
Big Thunder Mtn 2:10pm-3:10pm
Thanks in advance!!

So here's my advice. Get there before rope drop and make a bee line to 7 dwarfs. Get in line and ride it and be done with it. Then go have breakfast somewhere prior to your 11:15. Honestly, the FPs change constantly. We were just in MK all day yesterday and I had fun watching the FP go by. We actually just made one, rode it, immediately got another, rode it, got another etc. We got FPs for everything we wanted except Peter Pan. I never saw those come up. I've also gotten FPs for Avatar's flight of passage the night before . Folks are always shifting plans.

I think fast passes are limited to 3. After you use the last one more become available. Looks like you booked 3 already.

Now my question is do we go straight to Mine train or ride a ride or two before our fast pass expires at 9:05am?? lol

Wonder if we could get Space and Buzz in first. I gave up our Space fp

You get in one for sure. Head to Space first thing and then just see how much time you have left. They give you a 15 minute grace period on your FP.

Thanks that's good to know about the grace period. We use to do Disney every year when our boys were young. This trip we are traveling with another couple and it's been 6 years since we've done MK.

This is an 8am opening, right? Different strokes for different folks and some aren’t morning people, but I would rope drop HARD and milk every bit of that early morning time you can and hit your FP at the end of the window (if not the 15 min grace period). I get all the arguments for late night park time, but nothing beats a MK rope drop for us (especially a pre-9am morning) - can cover so much ground and be ready to head out by/after lunch and be sitting by the pool :beach:.

Love the helpful DISers who posted above given the hours update yesterday and FPs added today - nice timing!

3 options.
1. RD arrive at least 60 minutes before opening time.
2. Get in line at least 5 minutes before park close (earlier if the park is really crowded as they may close the line.
3. Keep checkng for FPs, right up to day of.

I am planning on doing the same thing for every day except our first one. On that day we have early morning at the magic kingdom and story book dining around 4:30 so it doesn’t make sense to go back to the all star and right back to the same area. If the heat gets too bad, I’ll take the kids in our group to the wilderness lodge before our dinner plans there relax
