I passed my driving test just over an hour ago

It was my third attempt and I was so nervous. Got the same examiner as 2nd time with the same manouvres (bay parking which I failed on) and almost the same route. Thought I had failed on my bay parking again so ended up driving around not giving a stuff was so convinced I had already failed. When he told me I had passed well you could have knocked me down with a feather

Congrats Annmarie. I did the same as you when I sat my driving test. I thought I had done really badly within the first 10 minutes. Then spent the rest of the test thinking I had failed and because of that all my nerves went. Couldn't believe it when the examiner said I had passed.

Honestly, I was the most nervous driver ever, couldn't believe I'd passed my test in a million years, and had to drive in Orlando 6 months later!

It was fantastic, I loved it, and the experience filled me with so much confidence - well done-now the driving really starts........

Had my first solo drive this morning, a 15 minute run to the train station turned into quite a journey. Got to the station only to be told no trains due to a derailment. So, I took the bull by the horns and drove to the next town, about half hour away, so I could get the tube instead. When I got there everyone else had obviously had the same idea and the car park was full so had to then spend another 5-10 minutes or so finding a parking space! but I did it and I have to say I really enjoyed every minute of it
