No longer can use Target 5% RX rewards on GC's

I was so very sad to hear that you can no longer use the additional 5% RX rewards that Target offers when you fill 5 prescriptions in addition to your Target red card to get 10% off the Disney gift cards. You can still use your red card to receive 5% off when purchasing the Disney gift cards so that's still a savings. I'm currently using Shopkick app to get free Disney gift cards! I just redeemed for my first gift card and I'm so excited about it. With the app you scan and walk into different stores and receive kicks and then you can redeem these kicks for Target gift cards and then buy Disney gift cards with those! I just got a $50 gift card for free!! I'm just so excited about this. If anyone wants the link to the app just pm me because I don't think I can post the link on here :good vibes I have referred all my friends and they just love it!

It is an immediate 5% discount so it comes off before you pay at the register.

I have the credit card and after making purchase i go to the service desk and immediatly pay credit card.

I don't see the Disney gift card listed as an option. Where are you seeing it? How many kicks do you need to redeem for a $50 gift card?

Do you end up getting the "kicks" from stuff you intended to buy or bought because you get the "kicks"?

I've been using receipt hog and Ibotta for about 7months. I have enough to redeem $30 from receipt hog, and have redeemed over $70 from Ibotta...with Ibotta, it only dictates what I buy if the final price of the product is under $1 and it's a product I could stock up on (like cereal).

Even though some people are reporting that Target is no longer letting you use your Target pharmacy rewards on Disney gift card purchases, I did it this morning when buying $5000 worth of gift cards. Saved $500. So, I would still try and use the pharmacy rewards card. All they can say is no- it doesn't hurt to try

I would say "good for you", but knowing that Target is firing managers and associates who override the block on the Pharmacy Rewards coupon for GCs makes me cringe for the manager who just saved you $500. I hope they didn't lose their livelihood because they did this for you.

That's the second mention today I've read of it working.

I can't help but wonder if it's back to working again? I read the brief pharmacy rewards rules I found online, and the only giftcard it mentions is the *Target* GC, that it doesn't work for.
