No Kona reservations available?

I tried to make a breakfast reservation for a couple different days at Kona, and there was none available?
What gives? There is always availability there. Glitch perhaps? The first week in February is a usually on the lower ends of crowds.

You have to call. They aren't putting them online for some reason.

Oh, ok. It said to call, but I thought it might be a glitch. Funny thing is, this past June I had a reservation for breakfast for two and completely forgot about it. I expected to be charged the $20 no show fee, but never was.

This happened to me last week. I canceled one and went to change the date and nothing showed up before noon any day for 180 days out. Other people said they could see them by the next day and I still couldn't. So I called and found one easily. It seems to be a recent change because I booked one online a couple months ago.

Consider it a blessing. My spouse and I ate dinner at the Kona Café back in April and I was very disappointed in menu and quality of food that we ordered. The dining space is not laid out very well and you feel like you are at your neighbor's table sharing the conversation whether you want to or not. Wait service was just soso. Wished I had gone to 'Ohana instead or even the luau.

I booked breakfast as an ADR at Kona. We love the pure Kona coffee and Samoan there. Yum!

I got the same message last week but I called the number and was able to get an ADR for the end of this month with only 3 weeks notice : ). I'd call cause it looks like something is up with the website : )
