A CM was just told at the the entrance to MK that she can't wear a gaiter. It has to have loops over the ears or ties. Just an FYI because I have seen that question come up a few times.
I do not understand how a well-fit gaiter is different than something that ties behind the head, other than it covers my neck.WDW policy is no gaiters and no scarves. Id suggest the kind that tie behind the head if the ear-loops are a problem.
I agree. This is a stupid policy and I hope WDW changes it.I do not understand how a well-fit gaiter is different than something that ties behind the head, other than it covers my neck.
I never tried a gaitor, but it seems it would be hot around the neck? Just curious. I have a few masks that are good for me, comfortable.I'm sewing ear loops into my son's gaiter, I'm hoping that passes.
I'm watching a live stream right now and I've seen 2 gaiters that don't appear to have any loops.
I am watching a live stream too and it looks like they made slits in the gaiter where their ears are.. Looks easy to do and more comfortable than a traditional face covering.I'm sewing ear loops into my son's gaiter, I'm hoping that passes.

I agree! But DS23 wore one out on a fishing trip on a hot/humid day off our NJ coast. No shade on the boat. He said it wasn't hot and protected the back of his neck from sun.But so so so much hotter. Im not sure people wear gaiters in that heat.
Most of them are made from a polyester blend and have a cooling effect if you get them damp.I never tried a gaitor, but it seems it would be hot around the neck?
