No Free Dining at Campsites????

Whenever we've been lucky enough to get Free Dining in the past we've always stayed at a resort, so never really paid much attention before.

We were fortunate enough to get another Free Dining pin, but this time we have been contemplating the Campsites at Fort Wilderness. From what I can see, this isn't an option.

Can others please confirm that we are correct, and if this is normally the case?

The campsites haven't been included in FD offers for many years. It was when FD was first offered, but excluded when Disney realized that with a maximum of 10 people per site relative to the cost of a campsite per night too many people could get FD. The cabins, however, are still included in FD.
