no FP at Pirates or Haunted Mansion

Don't know if anyone has posted yet, but we were just there last week and the Fast Pass machines are now covered and "out of service" for Pirates and for Haunted Mansion....guess they caught on to fact these were not linked!

Good news is that they were definitely testing Big Thunder Mountain for possible start-up next week (I asked). YEA!

Just wondering, how were the stand-by lines at those two attractions while you were there?

I wasn't there, but I doubt that they were too long as the ride always has boats/space coming and it can load a lot of people at one time.

I think POTC can hold like 20 people or so at one time.

We were there on Friday the 16th and stand-by lines were 10 min. for POTC and 13 for HM.

Yep, we were there Mon to Thurs and standby lines on both were never more than 15 minutes....usually 5-10 minutes (but we also try to do all our riding before noon so can't tell you what midafternoon looked like).

We were there the 7 - 12, HM had short stand by lines, but POTC had 45 min waits. That was just before their Fast Pass machines were "out of service". DH and DS rode POTC with a Fast Pass but our last day there they were covered.

I *loved* that Pirates and HM didnt have FP- They really dont need them with their capacities- The time I was there both were at most 30 minutes- Lots better than the 95 for Indy and the 120 for Splash

DCA waits were about 45-60 the whole time for Tower/Scream/Soarin
