No Flash Pictures Please --- Redux

I would love to be the only living soul afloat upon my boatie, upon the waters of the ol Bayou! I am happy if no one takes flash pictures. But that, and to be one of very few people visiting the pirates, that would just be glorious! Sometimes, there will be an empty boat or two, but not much past that. When I have been on the ride.

Nope nothing at DL bothers me anymore. Except closing the people mover.

Last week there was somebody on Pirates who was using flash. A CM came on over the speaker and asked them to stop but they continued. The CM asked them several times throughout the ride to stop, but they never did! They had to have heard the CM, but they ignored it. I was frustrated because they let the person get off the ride and said nothing. They hauled their butts out of the exit, so I'm thinking they were afraid of getting into trouble. What jerks.

Other than that, I don't think I saw any flashes going off on any of the dark rides at all...maybe a couple on Small World. They seem to be getting more serious about the "No Flash" rule since they are getting on the speakers and asking people to stop. I think most people DO stop when they get that kind of warning. I was amazed at how bold that woman was to keep using her flash. I would have been scared to get thrown out. What an idiot. :sad2:

Thank you for sharing your tale. I appreciate it. It is possible that woman did not understand english... however, if she did, then her indifference showed her rudeness. I hope that her camera falls out of her hands, and into the deep blue bayou.

Please people please.... I implore you... no flashing of your booty either! Nor any other body parts.... you know.. the areas where swim suits that are properly fitted and styled would cover!

oh please yeah non of the body parts seriously.. my eyes don't want or need to see that stuff!!

Without fail, they guy in front of us on POTC started flashing away. My DD9 ever so politly goes "just so you know, there's no flash photography". Still flashing, so I go a little more blunt and a bit louder "NO Flash!!" the "Oh, for real" me "yeah really". He was good for the rest of the trip. Some idiot behind us in IASW was flashing away but I couldn't tell if it was our boat, it seemed a bit faint. I counted my IASW pictures, 41 total, though I think the lady infront of us got more. We were both good girls and restrained from flashing, body parts or otherwise.

It is so disrespectful to take pictures with the flash even though the quality is not better without the flash, but you should listen to the announcement when you go on the rides. Even with F!, there is no flash photography and people still do it.

Any new stories? Or even old ones? Regarding the subject at hand.

yeah but brett.. people still do it.. its like they dont care about the people around them

i think that is why she asked... it is rude!! it blinds the person next you and most people get really bad migraines from flash photos.. some of those flash's can be super bright!! i think we have talked about this!

onb our last trip earlier this month we went on Haunted Mansion and the cast member stopped the ride twice and kept telling people to stop taking flash pictures... first time that happened repeatedly like that.. they just maybe didnt undertand english or ignored it... that was annoying...

I wish CM's would do that more often. I hope that you were able to enjoy your visit down the ol' bayou, well enough, despite the flashing.

So everyone has been behaving themselves lately? No more flashing? That is a wonderful ideal. :)
