I booked CR for late April after reading the (then old menu), so I was disappointed to find the menu had changed prior to arriving. I was looking forward to the filet or swordfish. I'm not a big seafood eater, but hubby likes it. I tried the NY strip. In my case I wanted filet, so the NY strip did not cut it for me, but there was nothing else on the menu of interest to me. I thought it was just OK, but only ate a couple of bites. Hubby ate some of it as I didn't want to waste it and he had gobbled down his fish dish. He said it was OK, not the best he had ever had. We had a second ressie for the next week, so I tried the crab cake....being from the MD area I thought, OK, this should be good....yuck. My daughter and I both had it and didn't like it at all. (If you're a MD crab cake lover--this will disappoint you). Neither of us finished not even half of this dish. CR is off my list now until the menu changes. Too many other places to try. Our next trip in Septmber we plan to try Maya grill (I noticed it had filet mignon on the menu). And for our October trip, we plan to try GF Cafe, Spoodles, and Olivias for the first time. Of course we still have our regular places that we eat several times each trip (LeCellier, Concourse, and Kona).
