No fast passes for MSEP 60 days out at midnight. Is this normal?

I knew about Wishes going away, but didn't realize about the parades:

See the article above. I just read this posted on another thread. No more parade FP.

I figured something like this was going on and it wasn't on my end

They can cancel them, so have a backup in mind. People with some Wishes FP+ had theirs cancelled.

That being said, can we hope against hope that if there's no MSEP FP on the 27 it's due to an unannounced yet semi-traditional Memorial Day weekend event?

I wonder if these viewing areas will be available to the paid rumored After Hour Event attendees? That would add to that $150.00 value - special viewing - since it says it begins at 7pm, well before the night parades and Wishes.

Interesting thought. Although I have no idea why they would need to block it off now in anticipation of that.

I know when they did the overpriced Mystical Spirits of the Bayou dinner at DL last fall it came with reserved fireworks viewing.

I still haven't figured out what they're doing with the seating in Liberty Square of the train station is their VIP viewing area now.
