No fast pass for Anna and Elsa --- best strategy?

Hi!

We don't have fast passes for Anna and Elsa when we are at MK next Friday, but my 5 year old would like to meet them.
It's a party day, but we are not attending.

Anyone have advice on the best way to meet them without spending hours in line?

We usually rope drop and head right to Fantasyland and knock out as many rides as we can, so I'm not sure if we should change that an do A+E first.

Would getting in line right before 7pm be a good idea?

Rope drop sounds like the better option, at 7pm the line is probably the longest as you have the regular park guests + the party goers.

That might not be the best idea. There is a chance you will be herded towards the exit right before 7.

That's true, I was there last week and they closed off part of Liberty Square at 6:50 for non-party guests. So they may do it preemptively in Fantasyland too. Better to not take that risk.

MK opens at "8 am". I would be through security and the turnstiles by 7:15 and off to one side of the railroad station ready to go. Walk with a purpose (no reason to run), get in line at standby end enjoy.

Keep checking for A&E Fast Passes. Shortly before we went down in November they opened more up and I was able to snag 1 for my DH & me.

I agree to keep trying. We were able to get a FP for Anna and Elsa on Monday last week for a Wednesday meet and greet. It was at 9:20 pm but that was okay. We just played around with our FPs on MDE and one popped up.

Long shot, but it happens. If you keep checking as you pass a kiosk, something might pop up. We cancelled A&E at a kiosk day of and switched them to something else because we had caught them earlier in the week. CM said that would make someone thrilled. She said they do pop up every now and then when she checks and she loves seeing how excited someone gets when they do.

Later in the evening is you best bet for non party nights. This summer, the A&E posted wait time at 11:30 pm was 90 minutes but the actual wait was less than 10.
