What is the deal with Small World being closed for so long? We are going in April and my daughter will be so disappointed. I can't break that to her right now.

It's getting a complete (and long-overdue) overhaul. They are actually digging the canals deeper since boats kept bottoming out (too much weight), getting new boats, and giving the dolls some sprucing up.

I saw somewhere that Fantasmic at Disney World Hollywood Studios would be done end of January for a week or so. Maybe that's what you saw??

No, I'm talking DLR's version of F! here.

I know it's really rotton news and hard to take. My motives are not to ruin anyone's trip, just to provide information so that you can go better prepared.

Darn, so basically Fantasmic is back running the day after we leave DL. And I bummed out about small world too because the kids were looking forward to seeing that one--what a long time out for refurbishment!

Dont forget newer safety devices, IE smoke alarms, cameras, etc.

Just called dl guest relations and the guy who answered said its not on the operating list for next month.

Did I mention that he was really nice and helpfull
