We have just purchased 10 day park hoppers for our family to use for short last minute trips to WDW. My only concern is what if my son turns 10 before all the days and plus features are used up??? Do we have to upgrade them to adult and pay the difference? Never thought about this until we made the purchase.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

As long as your son uses at least one day on the child's ticket while he is still 9 year old, Disney will upgrade the ticket for him to an adult's ticket FOR FREE! Just stop by guest services on the later trip.

I've done it. It works! They say it's because tickets are non-transferable. HTH! :sunny:

I thought this might be the rule, but wanted to verify.

Thanks!!!! :thumbsup2

Yep, its easy. Like the pp said at least one day must be used prior to the child turning 10. Then to convert it, in my experience the child had to be with you and the dates of use and the childs current age had to make sense.

We did it twice, once with my nephew and more recently with my dd and both times it took less than 5 minutes.
