We are taking the 3 day in Dec. and everyone is saying how busy, busy we will be. I was thinking that the day in Nassau we may do a little shopping in town but otherwise hang out on the boat, swim, relax...
Do they serve lunch on the boat when docked? Are there movies or any other activities on the boat during this time?
Any input appreciated

Yes, Yes, and Yes. The 3 day is a pretty busy itinerary. When we've done it, we have just gone to the straw market in Nassau and the kids have even stayed on the ship in the Kid's Club. THere is food and activities all day long. Food in restaurants, on deck, room service, etc. There will even be movies, so you won't lack for anything to do, in fact, you will probably notice that alot of people who have been to Nassau before won't even get off the ship and you will have alot of company with you. Get your pool chairs early, then tend to go quick.

Enjoy!

U will not need them on our first cruise a 3 day to see if we would like it ... we did no excursions and had just a great time
As a matter of fact Out of the 6 cruises we have been on with 7and 8 booked I can count on one hand the amount of Disney excursions we we have done we r more the do it own your own or just take it easy type people the one disney excursion we did do was the Jeep tour in Cozmel....
