I was so excited to go online this morning and make our ADR's for our Dec 15-22nd trip! We got BOG, Ohana, Sanaa, 50's Prime Time within our desired times.

But San Angel and Teppan Edo did not have any reservations available between 5 and 9. I am assuming this is because of the Candlelight Processional. Do all the restaurants have a CP package? We have the free DDP so I don't think we can get a CP package. We are very happy with our 4 pm and 430 pm reservations...we will just eat a late bigger breakfast and have a midnight snack if we are hungry later!

This was surprisingly easy!! Good Luck everyone!

You can get the CP package but it uses 2 TS credits.

Thanks for letting me know that the CP can be part of the dining plan..though I think we have decided against It. It sounds like a long time to sit for our kids. I have heard that you can hang out by the American pavilion and listen to the show. I think that will suffice for us! Thanks again! lauri

How old are your little ones? If you're a church-going family (not making any assumptions here either way) and they can sit through a church service, they can handle CP. It's honestly one of my favorite memories from my last trip with my dad. Absolutely beautiful!

They hold some back because of CP.

If you wait till they release the CP dates, you might get lucky and find a regular reservation as well.

A lot of people book a regular ADR, only to cancel it and make a CP reservation.

Thanks for the tips! I would never have thought to go back and look for later reservations...assuming all would be used for CP! Either way, we are happy!

Sorry, my kids and sitting has nothing to do with their ages...they will be 17 and 21 when we go! The problem is that there is so much to do and see and never enough time to do it all. Now if someone they love is speaking, like Neil Patrick Harris, that may be a different story! Otherwise, waiting in line in the crowds does not appeal!

Thanks again for you advice and tips!

My brother and I went around that time several years ago and we saw Trace Adkins and he was amazing.
